Core + Co is a boutique fitness studio in Rockville Centre, New York offering Lagree Fitness classes, performed on the Megaformer.  Lagree Fitness is a full-body, high intensity, low impact resistance training method that effectively combines strength, endurance, cardio, core, stability and flexibility in every 45-minute class.  The Lagree Method is based on the concept of slow movements and effective muscle stimulation to burn out every major muscle group in an efficient and safe manner.


Lagree Fitness has exploded in popularity in recent years, as a result of its high-profile clientele who swear by the fast results you can achieve from practicing this method. Core + Co is looking for dynamic and confident individuals with a passion for fitness to join our team.  The Core + Co community is fun, welcoming, and supportive of our clients and their individual fitness goals.  

Group Fitness Instructor

Instructors must participate in the Core + Co training program, teach mock classes, and ultimately audition before being added to the schedule as an instructor.

Currently, we are seeking instructors who have flexibility to teach:

  • Early mornings 

  • Evenings

  • Weekends

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly preview and cue the exercises

  • Ability to create a high energy, positive and motivating environment

  • Background in teaching group fitness and/or fitness certification preferred

  • Has taken at least 20 Megaformer classes (at Core+Co or other Lagree studios)

  • Availability to attend team meetings and development workshops

Job Responsibilities

  • Attend Core + Co training sessions and Lagree Certification

  • Write full-body, effective Megaformer routines

  • Confidently and effectively lead a Megaformer class with clients of varying fitness levels

  • Provide exceptional hospitality to our clients

  • Promote Core + Co brand and the Lagree Method 

  • Stay current in the Lagree Method and with any new Megaformer exercises

Pay rate is per class and commensurate with experience.

Front Desk Assistant

Our Front Desk team is responsible for creating a welcoming and uplifting studio experience.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Checking clients into class

  • Selling packages and retail

  • Maintaining a well-kept studio

  • Promoting the Core+Co culture and love of the Lagree Method

Days and times are very flexible.
